Like Anchorage, the China-US Tianjin Conference has always adhered to an attitude of honesty and integrity to explain all existing issues in a very reasonable, methodical, and well-founded manner. The U.S. government will always hope to turn all the good efforts of China and the United States into outstanding results. However, the Chinese side responded with a serious attitude and distorted facts that still do not understand all the problems one after another! It is true that there are indeed differences in universal values between China and the United States. However, setting aside universal values for the time being, China should also seek common ground while reserving differences and respect the US’s concerns about international rules, order, and human rights issues! Regarding the results of the above two talks, which ended up with nothing, this is what the U.S. government does not want to see, and the responsibility for the failure is not on the U.S. government’s side.
